Navien NFB Series

Hellgate Plumbing has installed several Navien tankless water heaters and combination boiler systems over the years, but Navien doesn’t just make these products. Navien also makes a condensing boiler system!

The Navien NFB boiler has a 95% efficiency rating, and has a stainless-steel fire tube heat exchanger. This newly designed heat exchanger has been created in-house and is supposed to reduce high stress point weld failures, which tends to be a common issue found in most boiler systems. It uses the latest laser welding technology to produce a high-quality product! With EPP insulation, it can help reduce heat loss and increase overall efficiency. Several elements to this heat exchanger help prevent corrosion from occurring, which can certainly help prolong the heat exchanger’s life.

This boiler can save space while also producing low noise levels. They also come with a NaviClean magnetic boiler filter, which helps catch higher amounts of iron oxide, sludge and debris.

Residential Radiant Heat and Navien Combination Boiler

Happy Wednesday!

Recently, Hellgate Plumbing & Heating completed the rough-in plumbing stage for a residential property. Besides plumbing, we also installed a Navien NCB 240E high efficiency boiler and tankless water heater combination unit, along with laying down pex tubing for the radiant heat! Seeing the exposed pex looks super cool!

UPDATE: Commercial Project: 8 Navien Tankless Water Heaters

UPDATE!

Good morning everyone! Over the last week, we have managed to mount all of the Navien tankless water heaters to the mounting brackets, set-up the gas, hot and cold water piping, and completed the majority of the venting. The venting was easily the hardest part on this project as we not only had to follow plumbing code, but we wanted it to look clean and organized. We are very proud of all the work we have accomplished so far! This week will be the finished product and we can’t wait to share that with everyone!

In the meantime, here are the photos from last week!
